Season 3 — Discover:

In this season, 7 systems will appear, and it is now a thriving ecosystem that continues to expand into the universe. It’s time for the Orion Misfits branch, which kicks off space exploration this season and discovers new world abilities with additional space stations and planetary interactions. 2. Cosplay

Players will be able to choose from a variety of characters in Space Misfits. Each character gives players a chance to win BITS that can be used to purchase game gear.

3. Short trip

In this game mode, players will engage in Rogue-like gameplay in procedurally generated levels. As each level is completed, players must travel through the gates of space to enter the new system and complete quests, which can be done both alone and with others. The further the player progresses, the higher the reward. Players must choose to continue collecting more rewards through the level, or give up their progress to get the rewards they currently collect. If a player loses their ship in this game mode, all rewards including their ship will be lost.

4. Space Station

The space station is the central hub for each system, and each will contain a marketplace, forge, space agents and hangers, as well as private areas for gatherings. A space station is a refuge from the harshness of space, and each system contains at least one place for players to take refuge, store ships and items, conduct business, and hang out with other players.

5. Hangers

‍The hanger is where the player can access their entire inventory inside the space station, and is where all the ships, turrets, modules, resources, and other items that the player owns inside the space station are stored.

If a player owes a hanger, they won’t be able to get their item back until that debt is paid off. If a player is inactive for a period of time, their fees will accrue. Players may decide to sell their items in the hanger to reclaim their BITS to cover the hanger storage fee.

The hanger also manages the ship’s gear. Players can buy items in the market and equip them on the ships. Players can install and remove their items from the ship and manage all their items in the hanger.

6. Forging

Owning assets allows players to craft ships, turrets, modules, weapons, and various other items in the game. Blueprints are required within the forge to craft items, as well as the materials (minerals and BITS) needed to complete a given build. New blueprints are available through the Space Misfits store.

Currently, every forged item is stored on-chain and is also backed up in Space Misfits’ central database.

7. NPC
